Remote Graphic Designer for a Busy Print Shop — FT/PT, $16–$20/hr

Minuteman Press Boca Raton has been serving South Florida businesses for over 45 years, and we’re looking for a Production Graphic Designer who works fast and gets the details right. You’ll lay out new print jobs, clean up and prepare customer files, and create original designs for business cards, postcards, booklets, banners, signs, apparel, and more. If you know InDesign and Illustrator inside and out and you understand what makes a file truly print-ready, this is a great chance to do steady, real-world design work from home.

What you’ll do

• Lay out and prepare new print jobs, from business cards to banners and apparel
• Edit, fix, and clean up customer-provided files so they’re ready for production
• Create original B2B designs from scratch or from existing art, based on customer needs
• Prepare files for digital, offset, and wide-format printing
• Check fonts, links, and colors, and add bleeds and crop marks
• Impose artwork when a job requires it
• Make sure every file meets our print specifications and quality standards
• Handle general typesetting and page layout for customer projects
• Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize based on customer and shop deadlines

What we’re looking for

• Florida resident — you must currently live and work in Florida (required)
• Production graphic design experience — you’ve prepared files for print before, not just for screen
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat (required)
• Print know-how — you understand bleeds, crops, color, fonts, and imposition
• Experience working in or with a print shop is a big plus
• Fast and accurate — you can move quickly without letting mistakes slip through
• Self-motivated — you stay organized and on track while working remotely
• Great communicator — clear and friendly with customers and teammates
• Able to handle several jobs at once and still hit deadlines
• A good attitude and willingness to take feedback and learn our workflow

Pay & schedule

• $16–$20/hr, based on experience
• Full-time or part-time, remote
• Steady work with an established local shop and repeat customers

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
