About The Role We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our remote team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build web services, REST APIs, and support relational database operations. The ideal candidate will be a proficient coder with a passion for learning and collaboration, capable of taking features from requirements to deployment under the guidance of senior developers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of Java development experience
• Experience with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases such as Oracle or Db2
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java application code ensuring high quality and performance
• Build and update web services and REST APIs to support application functionalities
• Write SQL queries to manage and manipulate data within relational databases
• Identify and resolve defects, support production issues promptly
• Create and execute unit tests, participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Document technical specifications, code changes, and process workflows
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project goals and team needs
