Want to be part of the team behind the infrastructure that powers AI? InfraPartners is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller.
About us
At InfraPartners, we’re helping to power the global AI revolution. We design and deliver flexible, prefabricated data centres built specifically for GPU infrastructure. They scale to gigawatts and help businesses and governments move faster than ever.
Behind that is a team that loves solving hard problems. We’re growing quickly, and everyone here has the chance to make a real impact, take ownership and learn something new every day. Our values are innovation, responsibility and tenacity, and they show up in how we work: ideas are welcomed wherever they come from, people are treated fairly, and we tackle every challenge with determination.
If you want to build your career somewhere ambitious, collaborative and shaping the future of digital infrastructure, we’d love to meet you.
The role
This is a broad, hands-on role across our day-to-day finance operations: sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, month-end close, payroll coordination and financial reporting. It suits someone who is detail-oriented and proactive, who works well independently in a remote setting, and who enjoys building good relationships with colleagues and external finance partners.
What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day finance operations across sales ledger, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Take ownership of Accounts Receivable activities, including raising sales invoices, posting cashbook transactions and completing new credit-account forms.
- Support Accounts Payable and purchase ledger activities, including processing supplier invoices, maintaining supplier records and responding to routine supplier queries.
- Support the timely resolution of customer and vendor account queries.
- Prepare and post journals, including prepayments, accruals and other relevant month-end adjustments.
- Support month-end close activities, financial reporting and the preparation of information for management review.
- Assist with payroll processes and liaise with external payroll providers as required.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow reporting, audit preparation, finance projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Liaise with colleagues and teams across the business, building effective working relationships and providing finance support where needed.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
- Practical experience across sales ledger, purchase ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations.
- Experience raising invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Experience processing supplier invoices and responding to supplier or customer finance queries.
- Experience posting journals, including prepayments and accruals.
- Exposure to month-end close and financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence using accounting or finance systems.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively and collaborate remotely.
Nice to have
- Part-qualified or currently working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT), or a relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Experience within a growing, international, multi-entity or project-based organisation.
What we offer
- Work from anywhere in the UK: a fully remote role with the flexibility that comes with it
- 28 days’ paid time off plus UK bank holidays: 20 days’ annual leave and 8 extra flexible days to use when it suits you
- Your health covered: private health insurance, life insurance and up to 4 weeks’ paid sick leave per year
- Pension scheme for your future
- Keep learning: access to our learning and development platform, plus employee perks
- Grow your career: broad exposure across the finance function in a growing global business
