Senior Software Engineer : Agentic AI Platforms

Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in building highly scalable, cloud-native platforms and hands-on expertise in Agentic AI technologies. The ideal candidate will combine deep distributed systems knowledge with practical experience developing AI-powered applications and leading engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software platforms leveraging Agentic AI architectures.
• Build and deploy AI-enabled applications utilizing LLMs, RAG frameworks, MCP abstraction layers, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Architect and implement distributed microservices and cloud-native solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and drive engineering best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of technical capabilities within the organization.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience building highly scalable platforms, including relevant experience with Agentic AI solutions.
• Strong programming expertise in Java and a deep understanding of building high-performance, low-latency systems.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• MCP abstraction layers

• LangChain and LangGraph

• Strong experience designing and building distributed microservices architectures.

• Experience with service mesh and communication frameworks such as:

• Envoy
• Linkerd
• Istio

• gRPC / Protocol Buffers

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing tools such as:

• Zipkin
• Jaeger
• ELK Stack

• Prometheus

• Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

• Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems, including:

• Redis
• Kafka
• Couchbase

• Cassandra

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile or other rapid application development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web services, REST APIs, OpenAPI development, and SOA concepts.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous and complex challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and deliver high-quality software.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
