AWS Cloud Design Architect (PAN India)

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Design Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture, Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Design, Cloud Security, Networking, and Disaster Recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions, driving workload migration from on-premises environments to AWS, and ensuring compliance with security and operational best practices.

The role requires deep expertise in AWS infrastructure architecture, hybrid cloud connectivity, cloud security, migration strategies, and performance optimization. The candidate will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure infrastructure and application architectures on AWS.
• Create architecture blueprints, technical design documents, and cloud migration strategies.
• Develop network topologies and cloud architecture models for enterprise workloads.
• Assess existing on-premises applications and define migration approaches.
• Design cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.

Cloud Migration & Modernization

• Evaluate application and infrastructure readiness for AWS migration.
• Design migration strategies for workloads transitioning from on-premises environments.
• Support cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with implementation teams during migration planning and execution.
• Ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance during cloud adoption programs.

Security & Compliance

• Design secure AWS environments using industry best practices.
• Implement security controls for encryption at rest and in transit.
• Design secure networking architectures using VPCs, Security Groups, NACLs, and WAF.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
• Participate in architecture reviews and security assessments.

Networking & Connectivity

• Design and support AWS networking solutions.
• Implement secure hybrid-cloud connectivity using VPNs and AWS Direct Connect.
• Design highly available network architectures leveraging Route 53 and Transit Gateway.
• Support API Gateway integration and secure traffic routing.
• Develop network designs that ensure scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.

Cloud Resource Optimization

• Optimize AWS resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Design solutions incorporating high availability and disaster recovery.
• Build multi-region and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and modernization opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to AWS architectural best practices.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with architects, cloud engineers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and solution workshops.
• Support cloud adoption initiatives and migration programs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cloud governance efforts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Design, or Cloud Migration.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud Platform.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and migration solutions.
