About the Role

Hirevantis LLC is seeking an iOS Engineer to support mobile application development projects for its client partners. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy native iOS applications using Swift, working closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

The position focuses on building secure, reliable, and high-performance applications while maintaining responsive user interfaces, integrating backend services, and optimizing app performance. You will also contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and deployment processes to help deliver a consistent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, with a focus on clean architecture, reliability, and performance.
• Build responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI or UIKit and Auto Layout in accordance with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate mobile application features with backend systems through RESTful APIs and cloud-based architecture.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to improve memory usage, battery efficiency, and rendering smoothness.
• Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests, applying test-driven development practices where appropriate.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and identify potential issues.
• Manage application publishing workflows within the Apple App Store ecosystem.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align application functionality with product requirements and user experience goals.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Swift as the primary development language, with a solid understanding of Objective-C.
• Strong experience with iOS frameworks, including UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation, and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD).
• Practical knowledge of modern software architecture and design patterns, such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience handling multithreading, asynchronous task processing, and memory management.
• Strong understanding of Git commands and repository workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and other technical stakeholders.
• Focus on writing reliable code, maintaining application performance, and following sound software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience publishing application updates directly to the Apple App Store.
• Familiarity with functional or reactive programming tools, including the Combine framework.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
