Power BI Developer - WFH

PSRTEK is seeking a Power BI Developer to support data analysis, visualization, and reporting initiatives using internal and external data sources.

About the Role

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for analyzing complex data, developing visual reports, maintaining datasets, and translating business requirements into actionable insights. The role involves working with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify relevant data sources, and present findings that support informed decision-making.

The position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Irving, Texas. Candidates should have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting tools, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customized analyses using internal and external data sources, including raw, published, structured, and unstructured data.
• Incorporate competitive factors and client differentiators into analyses and synthesize relevant insights.
• Use advanced data visualization tools to develop clear visual stories, analyze complex data, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Plan and implement data strategies and oversee medium- to large-scale projects.
• Research and apply best practices for identifying data sources and analyzing information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular communication and expectation management.
• Use data-driven insights to advise stakeholders and influence business decisions.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and understand existing business processes.
• Develop and maintain datasets while coordinating dependencies with other teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering degree in BE, ME, BTech, MTech, BSc, or MSc.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 8+ years of experience specified for the position.
• Hands-on skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, Azure Delta Lake, Databricks, R, and Python.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy while handling complex data and reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Clinical Database (CDB), Operational Database (ODB), or Procedural Analytics (PA).
• Experience with SAS, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Healthcare industry experience.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Remote position.
• Irving, Texas, is the preferred location.
