  • Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable, functional platform solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and implement technical enhancements to maintain system reliability.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of ServiceNow customers and application capabilities.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct and support unit, system, integration, regression, usability, accessibility, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to release management, configuration management, operations, maintenance, and production support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and system records.
  • Ensure solutions comply with applicable DHS security, accessibility, architecture, and software development standards.

Requirements The ideal candidate combines strong software development fundamentals with practical ServiceNow expertise, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver secure enterprise applications in a collaborative environment.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or a related field.
  • Maintain a current ServiceNow certification.
  • Have at least 5 years of overall software development or programming experience.
  • Bring at least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
  • Demonstrate experience building applications, workflows, integrations, or automation using the ServiceNow platform.

  • Understand Agile application development practices and collaborative software delivery.
  • Be able to translate business and technical requirements into implemented platform functionality.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
