Job Description
• $50–$100 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Under 20 hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of AI coding systems, on your own schedule, and get paid for the engineering judgment you already have.
The coding systems changing how software gets built are trained and tested by real software engineers. The teams building them need people who can create realistic, difficult coding tasks, judge how well the AI solves them, write the solution a strong engineer would provide, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of coding models. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Design reproducible coding tasks covering feature work and bug fixes
• Write benchmark solutions and build checks with fixed outcomes that accept valid code while rejecting incorrect code
• Track down defects and slow-running parts of multiple codebases
• Review code from peers and submitted technical work, checking correctness and whether the explanations are clear
Why this is worth your time
• Build real AI skills while earning the equivalent of $50–$100 per hour on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI coding tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most software engineers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping software engineering, and the engineers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Strong practical experience writing software in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, TypeScript, or a comparable programming language
• Experience building backend services and APIs that scale
• Experience debugging complex systems, improving performance and reviewing code, plus the ability to document and communicate technical work clearly in English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $50–$100 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Under 20 hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United Kingdom
