Job Description
Top California Personal Injury Firm is in need of an Experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal!
*FULLY REMOTE POSITION*
Employee must reside in California.
Primary Duties:
- Assist attorneys with litigation case lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery, and occasional trial preparation support
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
- e-File legal documents in California courts
- Calendar litigation deadlines and important dates for litigation team
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with civil litigation
- Experience handling minor’s compromise petitions
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence
- Effective client communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with legal document management software
- Spanish-speaking skills are highly desired
