Cloud / DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a Cloud / DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client. This role involves building and managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring applications run reliably at scale. Role & responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage them with Kubernetes
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and logs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Manage cloud security, access controls (IAM), and compliance best practices
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Optimize cloud costs, performance, and scalability
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash, Python, or shell scripting
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to improve release cycles
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability setups

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 0 to 2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or system administration (internships and projects count)
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking basics
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar
• Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
