Job Description
- Competitive total compensation incl RSUs.
The company
Our client is a listed AI infrastructure company that builds, owns and operates large-scale, data centres and an AI cloud platform. It provides GPU capacity to some of the world’s largest hyperscalers and AI labs, and is growing quickly globally, including within the US.
The role
This is a senior, hands-on customer role. You’ll be the lead contact for a small number of the company’s most strategic AI cloud customers, from late-stage contracting through deployment, acceptance and go-live, then into steady-state operations, expansion and renewal.
You’ll work closely with the teams that deliver the contracts, plus Development, Data Centre Operations and Technology. Your job is to make sure customer priorities are understood, dependencies are managed, delivery issues are resolved quickly, and contracted commitments turn into lasting customer success.
What you’ll do
- Own the relationship with assigned strategic customers: executive engagement, mapping their key people, account health, risks and long-term priorities
- Join late-stage commercial discussions so the handover from contract signature to delivery is smooth
- Act as the customer’s lead during deployment, testing and acceptance: coordinate the customer’s involvement, set expectations, and drive actions through to closure
- Make sure the customer’s technical requirements and the intent of the contract are clearly understood internally, so readiness turns into timely acceptance and go-live
- Own escalations and relationship risk, bringing in the right internal teams and driving clear accountability
- Lead executive communications on material delivery updates
- Keep a forward view of each customer’s compute and capacity requirements
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years experience with at least 2 years in post-sale customer roles (customer success, technical account management, service delivery or customer delivery) at a GPU cloud, hyperscaler, data centre operator
- Direct experience supporting hyperscale or frontier AI customers through onboarding, deployment and day-to-day operations
- Comfort with the operational and technical side of infrastructure delivery, such as GPU clusters, networking, data centre readiness and SLAs, without needing to be an engineer
- Strong commercial judgement: you understand contractual commitments, customer economics and the implications of customer-driven changes
- Proven ability to influence senior people across functions without direct authority, and to escalate risks early
- Excellent executive communication
- A bachelor’s degree
- Comfort with a fast-paced, global organisation, flexible hours across time zones, and regular travel to sites and customer locations
