Music Research & Talent Coordinator (Entry Level)

About the Position

TDB Sound is seeking a few detail-oriented and music-focused individuals to assist with music research, industry trend monitoring, and talent discovery.

This position is ideal for someone who follows emerging artists, understands online music platforms, and wants to learn more about the business and creative side of the music industry.

The successful candidate will help gather information, organize research, and identify developments that may be relevant to the label’s future projects.

Responsibilities

Research emerging artists and developments within the independent music industry.

Monitor music platforms and digital channels for new releases and emerging trends.

Organize artist information, music links, and research notes.

Assist with researching audience engagement and artist visibility.

Prepare summaries of music industry trends and relevant findings.

Help maintain organized records of potential industry contacts and talent.

Support research related to artist development and music market opportunities.

Communicate findings and recommendations to the team.

Qualifications

Strong interest in music and the entertainment industry.

Good research, communication, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with music platforms such as YouTube and SoundCloud.

Ability to evaluate information and summarize findings clearly.

Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Previous music industry experience is not required.

Skills That Are a Plus

Knowledge of independent music scenes and emerging artists.

Familiarity with music marketing and audience development.

Experience with spreadsheets or research tools.

Interest in artist management, talent scouting, or music business operations.

Pay: $51,800.00 - $62,500.00 per year
