Assistant manager Menswear

Role Description The Assistant Manager Menswear at Balibaris is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role supports the store manager in overseeing daily operations for the menswear department, ensuring excellent customer service and a premium brand experience. Responsibilities include supervising sales associates, coordinating shift schedules, and monitoring sales performance and key metrics. The Assistant Manager Menswear helps manage visual merchandising, stock levels, and product presentation to align with brand guidelines. The role also involves handling customer inquiries and escalations, training team members, supporting store events, and contributing to local marketing and clienteling activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in retail management or supervisory roles within fashion or menswear.
• Strong customer service and clienteling skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Comfort with sales targets, performance metrics, and basic retail operations (cash handling, opening/closing procedures).
• Knowledge of menswear trends, styling, and premium brand positioning.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and respectful approach.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling and prioritizing tasks.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in London or similar metropolitan retail environments is an advantage.
