Founding Agentic AI Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a full-stack AI engineer who bridges the gap between modern decision/agentic frameworks and crisp product execution. You will architect autonomous AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex workflows, while building the responsive web applications required to expose those agentic capabilities to users.

As a founding engineer, you’ll work directly with leadership, move fast with high autonomy, and help establish our technical standards, engineering culture, and product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Agentic Framework Architecture: Design, implement, and optimize autonomous agents and multi-agent systems using frameworks like Jev, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom orchestration loops.
• Full-Stack Application Development: Build, maintain, and scale responsive, production-ready web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Decision Systems & Workflow Design: Implement reliable decision-making pipelines, planning mechanisms, long-term memory architectures, tool-use strategies, and fallbacks for dynamic AI behavior.
• API & System Integration: Develop robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs, manage WebSockets/SSE for streaming agent outputs, and integrate external services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Production Reliability & Evaluation: Establish benchmarks, evaluation loops (Evals), guardrails, and telemetry to monitor agent accuracy, latency, failure modes, and operational cost.

Requirements

• Agentic & Decision Frameworks: Hands-on experience building autonomous agents or decision engines with frameworks like Jev, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or native custom orchestration.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong production experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
• LLM Engineering Depth: Solid understanding of prompt engineering, function calling/tool use, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context management, and fine-tuning/eval approaches.
• Product Sense & Autonomy: Ability to take vague product problems, scope them out, and ship functional, end-to-end features independently.
• Systems & API Design: Experience designing clean microservices/APIs and stateful agent execution environments.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience as a founding engineer or early employee at a fast-paced startup.
• Deep knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Pgvector) and state management for persistent agent memory.
• Experience with real-time UI/UX for agentic systems (streaming text, real-time activity feeds, human-in-the-loop interfaces).
• Familiarity with Python for AI prototyping alongside TypeScript full-stack environments.

Pay: From ₹7,000.00 per month
