About the job
We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with 10 Atmospheric Water Harvesting Experts for part-time, fully remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects start at $70–80 USD / hour.
This role includes evaluating and pressure-testing leading AI models on expert-level atmospheric water harvesting knowledge, creating and verifying graduate-level problems and worked solutions, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained atmospheric water harvesting specialist.

Who We’re Looking For
You have senior-level experience in one or more of the following areas: Sorbent Materials (MOFs, COFs, Hygroscopic Salts & Hydrogels), Sorption Science & Characterization, Surfaces & Coatings for Fog and Dew Harvesting, Radiative Cooling & Condensation Surfaces, Solar-Driven Sorption Device Design, Active & Hybrid Water-from-Air Systems, Field Deployment & System Economics, or Sorption Cooling & Desiccant Dehumidification.
Ideal backgrounds include
- Current or former researchers and engineers at water-from-air companies and atmospheric water harvesting startups
- Current or former faculty, research scientists, and senior research staff in materials science, chemistry, and mechanical or chemical engineering groups working on water harvesting and sorbents
- Current or former staff scientists and engineers at national labs and federal research organizations
- Current or former research and engineering staff at sorbent and desiccant manufacturers and at defense or industrial R&D groups
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- Based in the United States
- Senior-level experience in atmospheric water harvesting or a closely related field (e.g., sorbent materials, condensation surfaces and coatings, sorption devices and systems)
- Deep expertise in at least one of the listed areas of atmospheric water harvesting
