Part-Time E-commerce & Shopify Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented E-commerce & Shopify Assistant to help maintain our online store, keep product listings accurate, and coordinate website updates and sales promotions.

You will work closely with our in-house photographer, who will provide approved product photos for uploading. Most work will be done remotely, with occasional in-office meetings to coordinate with management.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on Shopify experience who can work independently, pay attention to detail, and keep e-commerce operations organized.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify & Product Catalogue

• Upload new products and product photos, and update existing listings.
• Maintain accurate product titles, descriptions, prices, variants, tags, and collections.
• Check for duplicate products, missing information, incorrect entries, and other catalogue errors.
• Regularly review product pages and ensure the website displays correctly on desktop and mobile.

Website Updates & Promotions

• Update homepage banners, collection banners, and featured products using approved artwork.
• Implement management-approved sale prices, discounts, promotional codes, and seasonal campaigns.
• Check that promotions display correctly and deactivate them when campaigns end.
• Coordinate website updates for new product launches and sale periods.

Bulk SMS & Customer Campaigns

• Prepare and send approved bulk SMS announcements for sales, promotions, and new collection launches.
• Coordinate campaign messages and timing with management.
• Maintain organized customer contact lists, handle customer data confidentially, and respect applicable marketing and opt-out requirements.
• Review campaign delivery reports where available.

Coordination & Administration

• Coordinate product photo handovers with the photographer and ensure approved images are uploaded.
• Track pending updates, report website errors, and provide regular progress reports.
• Assist with organizing routine e-commerce tasks and promotional schedules.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing a Shopify store.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written English and product-description skills.
• Familiarity with Shopify products, collections, variants, tags, discounts, and promotional settings.
• Basic image handling and website merchandising skills.
• Experience with bulk SMS or e-commerce marketing campaigns is an advantage.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable computer.
• Willingness to attend occasional in-office meetings in Parañaque.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

• Part-time position, initially two days per week.
• Monthly salary of ₱6,500–₱7,500, depending on experience and agreed working hours.
• Primarily work from home, with occasional in-office coordination meetings, approximately once a week or once every two weeks as needed.
• Working hours may increase during product launches and seasonal sales. Any additional hours, responsibilities, and corresponding compensation will be agreed upon in advance.
• Working hours and employment terms will be established before the start date and must comply with applicable employment requirements.
