Architectural Design / Building Design Consultant

Position Overview

Develop architectural concepts, coordinate building design activities, and provide professional design consultancy throughout project stages, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, client requirements, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, elevations, and building design proposals.
• Prepare design drawings, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, M&E consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Review design specifications and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
• Provide design recommendations to optimise functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor design development and support project coordination throughout implementation.
• Conduct site visits and assist in resolving design-related issues when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in architectural design, building consultancy, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of building design principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent design communication, technical documentation, and coordination skills.
• Creative, organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple project priorities.
• Professional architectural registration is an advantage where required by the role and jurisdiction
