Position Overview We are seeking an AI Forward Engineer to drive the design, development, and productionization of next-generation AI experiences. This role blends advanced software engineering with prompt engineering, model orchestration, and systems thinking to build reliable, scalable, and safe applications powered by large language models and other generative systems. The ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer-level practitioner who can integrate models like Claude, leverage orchestration tools such as Cursor, and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS to deliver high-quality, production AI services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production-grade AI services and integrations that leverage LLMs (e.g., Anthropic Claude) and other generative models.
• Build and operate model orchestration and agent workflows using tools like Cursor to coordinate multi-step reasoning, retrieval, and action execution.
• Own end-to-end system architecture from model selection and prompt design to data pipelines, serving, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and research teams to translate user needs into robust AI features and iterate quickly with measurable success metrics.
• Implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective deployment patterns on AWS (including compute, storage, networking, and IAM), and optimize for latency and throughput.
• Create and maintain automated testing, evaluation, and validation suites for model outputs to ensure quality, safety, and bias mitigation.
• Drive observability and telemetry for AI systems, including logging, tracing, performance dashboards, and alerting for model and infra issues.
• Mentor and lead engineering peers, conduct code reviews, and help establish best practices for prompt engineering, model governance, and MLOps.
• Stay current with advances in LLM capabilities, toolchains, and best practices, and apply them to improve product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated track record as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent responsible for production services.
• Tech Lead experience managing 3-4 people
• Experience using orchestration or agent frameworks such as Cursor, Claude, or similar tools to build multi-step workflows and reasoning pipelines.
• Proven AWS experience (EC2, EKS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) and comfort designing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and observability tooling.
• Excellent communication skills, product intuition, and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
