Job Description
• $140–$400 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work at the frontier of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the judgment you have built as an attorney.
The AI systems changing how legal information is handled are trained and tested by practicing legal professionals. The teams building them need attorneys who can create realistic legal scenarios, assess the AI’s analysis, write the legal documents and answers a professional would produce, and explain where the system is unclear, inaccurate, or incomplete. Your judgment helps shape how the next generation of AI handles legal material. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Create and analyze realistic legal scenarios across US law topics
• Research legal issues and judge whether the AI’s analysis is current and accurate
• Draft and edit memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other legal documents
• Check the AI’s legal writing for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, then give structured feedback on what needs to improve
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $140–$400 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• An active license to practice law and strong academic credentials
• Current or prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms
• Legal analysis, research, drafting, and precise review experience across legal subjects, with fluent English
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $140–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
