Job Description
• $150–$300 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the litigation judgment you already have.
The AI systems being built for legal work are trained and tested by attorneys with real courtroom experience. The teams developing them need federal civil litigators who can work through realistic motion and briefing exercises, judge the quality and precision of the AI’s legal analysis, write the kind of answer a strong attorney would give, and explain exactly where the reasoning falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of legal AI. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Complete simulated motion-drafting and briefing exercises based on federal civil litigation
• Assess AI-generated answers to litigation scenarios, focusing on the strength of the arguments and the quality of the legal analysis
• Create objective grading criteria for performance on litigation tasks
• Refine guidance and give actionable feedback on model-generated motions and case-law analysis
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $150–$300 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most federal litigators will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping litigation, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• An attorney with substantial experience in federal court civil litigation, including strong federal motion practice and work on briefing and case strategy
• An attorney who has won at least three motions in federal civil litigation
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical judgment, professional fluency in English, and experience turning legal expertise into actionable feedback for legal, product, or research teams
• No experience in AI training work needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $150–$300 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
