Job Description

As a Senior IT Virtual Assistant Technologist, you will work directly with our Global Manufacturing Tenants. You will ensure that we deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that meet business needs and align with IT strategy. You will also collaborate with other IT Technologist stakeholders and vendors to plan, execute, and support Virtual Assistant initiatives built on the Teneo.AI or other similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain conversational flows and virtual assistants using Teneo.AI (Teneo Studio and Teneo Engine) or a comparable conversational AI platform (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex) .
• Evaluate, design, develop, and modify Middleware (AWS and Hyperautomation) and Front-End (Web Chat/Widget) applications that integrate with Teneo.AI .
• Familiarity with API integrations with Azure AI Services.
• Develop system design documentation (including GUI design if required), perform coding, and test/debug programs.
• Assist in developing migration and system implementation plans.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards for the Tenants’ solutions and the overall Virtual Assistant platform.
• Troubleshoot and correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation for program support.
• Collaborate with the Network Team on implementation of DNS and Load Balancers.
• Monitor the performance and health of the VA Platform (including Teneo Engine deployments and conversation analytics) .
• Integrate with other applications and Large Language Models using REST APIs and Teneo’s integration capabilities .

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Teneo.AI, including Teneo Studio, Teneo Engine, and Teneo Query Language (TQL), or a comparable conversational AI platform (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa, Amazon Lex)
• 2+ years of demonstrated proficiency with Node.js, Vue.js, Socket.IO, Docker, and TypeScript.
• Conversational and Generative AI experience (preferred, not required).
• Familiarity with Network Infrastructure (Firewalls, DNS, and F5 Load Balancers).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning with Git and CI/CD deployment using Jenkins/GitHub.
• Experience with AWS/Azure technologies including ECS, Fargate, RDS, Postgres, CloudFormation, S3, and CloudFront.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Self-starter who takes initiative in generating and comprehending documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile project delivery.
• Familiarity with Contact Center Cloud Technology and Virtual Assistants.

Preferred: Teneo certification or experience integrating Teneo with LLMs and contact center platforms
