Assistant Marketing Manger

Our CPG client is looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join their team on a 6-month contract. This position is 40 hours a week, fully remote. The working hours are EST. 

You will be supporting strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and product management initiatives. This role partners with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and Consumer Insights to drive business objectives and support product growth. 

Duties of the Assistant Marketing Manager: 

Support annual planning and strategy development through market insights and performance analysis. 

Assist in building marketing plans aligned with business goals. 

Partner with Sales and Customer Strategy teams to develop customer-facing materials. 

Track budgets, purchase orders, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting. 

Manage promotional and coupon programs, including forecasting and performance tracking. 

Support monthly business reviews, forecasting, and performance reporting. 

Coordinate packaging updates, product changes, and new item launches. 

Partner with supply chain teams to monitor inventory and resolve product issues. 

Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Medical teams to maintain product claims and approvals. 

Requirements of the Assistant Marketing Manager: 

Bachelor’s degree required 

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in marketing, product management, brand management, or a related field. 

CPG industry experience preferred Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. 

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. 

Experience collaborating across sales, operations, finance, legal, and regulatory teams. 

Passion for consumer products, health & wellness, or related industries is a plus.
