Design Engineer III

Design Engineer III (Mechanical) is responsible for leading mechanical design efforts for new product development and supporting sustainability initiatives. This role involves designing electric motor housings, components, and accessories, while minimizing noise and vibration through analysis and testing. Key duties include managing project priorities, reviewing drawings, writing specifications, selecting components, and collaborating with suppliers. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design of industrial products, strong CAD skills, and expertise in sound, vibration, and acoustic optimization. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with FEA/CFD, lab testing, and knowledge of electric motors or related industries.
