Job Description
Cocient connects experienced data scientists with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Bring your statistical and machine-learning judgment to how frontier AI models analyze data, build models and draw conclusions
- Give models realistic analysis problems, from messy datasets to experiment design, and find where their reasoning or their code goes wrong
- Help define what a rigorous, expert data science answer looks like
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Substantial hands-on experience as a data scientist, statistician, machine-learning engineer or quantitative analyst
- Strong command of statistics, experimental design and machine learning, plus Python or R and SQL
- Clear, precise written English
- An advanced degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field is a plus
