Job Description
Cocient connects experienced engineers with the AI labs building frontier models. Experts on Cocient work remotely, on their own schedule, on some of the most cutting-edge problems in AI.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Bring your engineering background (mechanical, electrical, civil, aerospace or other) to make AI a real partner in design and analysis
- Put frontier models to work on realistic engineering problems, checking their assumptions, calculations and trade-offs
- Help define what rigorous, expert engineering reasoning looks like for the next generation of AI
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Substantial hands-on experience as a professional engineer in industry, government or research, or an advanced degree in engineering
- Strong command of engineering analysis and the judgment behind design trade-offs
- Clear, precise written English
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or published research is a plus
