Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Develop server-side applications using JavaScript and Express.js.

• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

• Debug issues, write unit tests, and maintain code quality.

• Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

• Work with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines where required.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Node.js development.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and asynchronous programming.

• Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.

• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of Git, debugging, and unit testing.

• Understanding of authentication protocols such as JWT and OAuth.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
