Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications aligned with project requirements and best practices in software engineering.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to design system architectures that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable, utilizing design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between distributed systems and external integrations.
• Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular to enhance user interfaces.
• Implement cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS or Azure to support application deployment and scalability.
• Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git, ensuring code integrity and collaboration efficiency.
• Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Apply knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Follow best practices in software design, system security (including RBAC), and performance tuning for scalable systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of core Java programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure management and cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus for integrating backend services within broader web applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and system design principles.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular for full-stack development capabilities.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or SVN for collaborative coding environments.
• Strong grasp of database management using SQL languages like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to software development tools including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, or similar automation tools.
