📢 **We’re hiring: Planned Works Manager – Mechanical Services

eating is looking for an experienced Planned Works Manager to oversee mechanical installation projects for our housing, retirement living and care clients.

With ove

r

45 years in the industry, we deliver projects including plant room upgrades, boiler and hot water system replacements, heating installations and pipework replacement programmes.

The role

includes:

✅ Attending pre-start meetings with clients and site teams to agree project requirements, programmes and access arrangements.< /p>

✅ Preparing project-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).< /p>

✅ Reviewing asbestos reports and coordinating any additional surveys required with our clients before works begin.< /p>

✅ Travelling to sites to check workmanship, safety and progress against the agreed scope.< /p>

✅ Supporting engineers and taking ownership of urgent client escalations, coordinating action and seeing issues through to resolution.< /p>

✅ Managing snagging, checking completed works and coordinating handover.< /p>

✅ **Compiling and completing operating and maintenance (O&M) manuals, including equipment information, commissioning records, certificates and maintenance requirements.

background in heating, plumbing and mechanical installations.

ty to prepare RAMS and manage project documentation.

mmunication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.

al approach to resolving problems and managing competing priorities.

A full U

K

driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Experien

c

e working in occupied housing, retirement living or care environments would be an advantage.
