Role Description This is a full-time remote role that combines designer and technical responsibilities within the apparel development process. The professional in this role will translate design concepts and product references into detailed technical packages, ensuring accurate garment construction and consistent fit across categories. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating technical specs, reviewing samples, coordinating fittings, and providing clear feedback to pattern makers and production teams. The role also involves collaborating with sourcing, quality, and logistics partners to maintain construction standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and support timely production. The designer and technical specialist will contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Design and Garment Construction to create accurate tech packs and ensure production-ready garments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Fitting and Pattern Making to refine garment fit, assess samples, and guide pattern adjustments.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Product Architecture or structural design thinking to organize design details, construction methods, and material usage logically.
• Experience in apparel development, sourcing, or production management, preferably across multiple product categories (e.g., shirts, knits, bottoms, suits, blazers).
• Proficiency in design and technical tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, CAD pattern software, or PLM systems) and strong documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with remote teams, factories, and clients in different regions.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
• Relevant education or training in fashion design, technical design, pattern making, or a related field is preferred.
