About the Role

We are currently seeking empathetic, customer-focused individuals to join our team in a seasonal capacity supporting a high-volume claims environment driven by weather-related events. This entry-level position plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for insured customers during potentially stressful situations. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating outbound communications, providing essential information, and guiding customers through the claims process. This role offers flexible scheduling, including on-call availability, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, with an option to work remotely or onsite as needed. The position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in the insurance claims industry while making a meaningful impact on customer experiences during challenging times.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to follow documented processes
• Reliable internet connection and personal equipment (laptop and phone required)
• Ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Initiate outbound calls to insured customers within 24 hours of claim notification on behalf of the insurance carrier
• Provide adjuster contact information and clearly explain the next steps in the claims process
• Accurately document call attempts and customer interactions using provided templates and systems
• Manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism, patience, and attention to detail
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication skills to support customers during stressful situations
• Adhere to assigned on-call schedules, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
