About the Role

We are seeking a talented Motion Designer to join our creative team. This role is central to bringing our work to life across various platforms, including brand identities, web interfaces, digital products, and advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate treats motion as a discipline in its own right, with a keen eye for timing, pacing, and storytelling. You will collaborate closely with our designers from concept through delivery, animating everything from product UI and brand systems to social media content, campaign assets, and case study films. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your creativity and technical skills, contributing significantly to our studio’s evolving motion language.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in motion design, preferably within an agency or client-facing environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of brand, digital, and social motion work
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Lottie, Rive, or Cavalry is a plus
• Figma fluency for design handoff and collaboration
• Knowledge of 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Houdini is desirable
• Video editing skills with Premiere or DaVinci Resolve
• Understanding of sound design and working with audio assets
• Experience integrating animations into live environments through collaboration with developers
• AI tools familiarity for ideation, generation, and production workflows
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
• Creative vision with an understanding of how motion shapes meaning
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful with ownership mindset
• Curiosity about current trends and cultural movements in motion design

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end motion work across various disciplines, including UI animation, brand films, social content, web interactions, and campaign assets
• Collaborate with brand and web designers to integrate motion seamlessly into each project, from micro-interactions to full campaign rollouts
• Develop motion guidelines and animation systems that clients can extend independently, ensuring consistent visual language
• Partner with developers to ensure animations are accurately implemented into live environments using tools like After Effects, Rive, or Lottie
• Edit and post-produce video content, including pacing, sound design, and color correction
• Participate in creative concepting sessions from the outset, bringing a motion-first perspective to project ideas
• Present motion concepts and work to clients confidently, articulating the rationale behind creative choices
• Maintain organized project files, facilitate smooth handoffs, and prepare production-ready exports for various platforms
• Stay updated on emerging motion design techniques, AI integrations, and industry trends to continually enhance our workflows
