🚀 Hiring: GCP Engineer – Kubernetes / Docker / Cloud Infrastructure

We’re hiring an experienced GCP Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies to design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure.

🔹 Role: GCP Engineer

📍 Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid

📅 Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Required Skills

✅ Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

✅ Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)

✅ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager

✅ Hands-on experience integrating applications with MongoDB and Redis Cache

✅ Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and scalability

✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

✅ Knowledge of cloud resource performance optimization and cost management

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on GCP and GKE

✔️ Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, scalability, and availability

✔️ Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform or Deployment Manager

✔️ Integrate cloud-native applications with MongoDB and Redis

✔️ Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines

✔️ Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and networking issues

✔️ Ensure cloud environments follow security and architecture best practices

✔️ Maintain technical documentation and deployment standards

⭐ Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver)
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Service Mesh technologies such as Istio
