Remote position

US Citizens only

Must have - “ CICS , GitHub & Batch Processing exp “

Required Technical Skills

  • COBOL: Strong hands-on experience in COBOL programming, debugging, and application development.
  • CICS: Experience developing and maintaining online transaction processing applications.
  • Batch Processing: Experience developing and supporting batch programs, job execution, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
  • GitHub: Experience with source code repositories, version control, branching, merging, and code collaboration.
  • JCL: Knowledge of Job Control Language for executing and managing mainframe batch jobs.
  • Mainframe Environment: Experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe systems.
  • Testing and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot application issues, analyze abends, and resolve production defects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DB2, VSAM, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with mainframe utilities and job scheduling tools.
  • Experience with tools such as Endevor, Changeman, or similar source code management and deployment tools.
  • Knowledge of mainframe application integration and production support processes.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and using CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
