**Interim Project Manager - RELEX Implementation

Location -** Hybrid with occasional travel to UK sites

Contract: 6 months rolling *programme up to 2 years

Rate: Up to £650 per day outside IR35 depending on experience

I’m partnering with a well-established, multi-site manufacturing business that is starting a major planning transformation programme. It is putting a new Sales & Operations Planning capability in place, enabled by RELEX . They need an experienced interim Project Manager to bring structure, pace and control to the delivery.

The role

You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of the programme, from mobilisation through design, build, testing and go-live to hypercare. You’ll bring together commercial, demand and supply planning, manufacturing, finance, IT and external delivery partners around one integrated planning approach.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the integrated project plan, covering process design, configuration, data readiness, integrations, testing, training, cutover and adoption
• Run programme governance, including steering committees, status reporting, RAID, change control and escalations
• Support the design and embedding of the S&OP cycle: demand review, supply review, reconciliation and executive review
• Lead fit-gap workshops, UAT, master data preparation and process sign-off
• Manage the implementation partner and software vendor against scope, milestones and budget
• Drive business readiness, including stakeholder engagement, super users, training, cutover and transition to BAU

What you’ll bring

• A proven track record as a PM delivering S&OP, IBP or advanced supply chain planning implementations
• RELEX experience, which is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of demand, supply and production planning, inventory optimisation and executive review cycles
• Experience integrating planning solutions with ERP platforms
• Confidence managing partners, senior stakeholders and multiple workstreams
• A background in food, FMCG, manufacturing or other supply chain-intensive environments, which is highly advantageous
• PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or equivalent, which is desirable

This is a high-visibility programme with strong backing from senior leadership. You’ll be a hands-on PM who can challenge constructively and keep delivery focused on measurable business outcomes.
