Job Description
PART TIME / ON-CALL - APPROX. 20 HOURS PER WEEK
This is an on-call role. You must be available 24/7 to respond to staffing, operational, and customer issues as they come up. Total hours average about 20 per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be available on-call 24/7 to handle coverage gaps, call-outs, and urgent store issues
- Supervise laundry attendants and porters across multiple stores
- Manage employee schedules, coverage, attendance, and performance
- Coordinate training
- Monitor daily operations and maintain consistent customer service
- Resolve customer concerns and employee issues
- Coordinate supplies, equipment maintenance, and repairs
- Support staffing and operations as the business expands
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous management experience in laundry services, laundromats, retail, housekeeping, or a similar environment
- Experience supervising staff across multiple locations
- Availability for 24/7 on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staffing needs and daily operational priorities
- Dependable, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel between Bronx and Queens locations on short notice
