Are you an experienced life sciences strategy consultant with a strong background in life sciences due diligence and investor advisory work? We are looking for a Manager to join a growing consulting team that partners with leading private equity investors, corporate development teams and pharmaceutical companies on high-impact strategic engagements.

This is an opportunity to play a leadership role within a specialist investor services practice, helping clients make informed investment and transaction decisions across the healthcare and life sciences sector.

The Opportunity

As a Manager, you will lead complex commercial due diligence and strategic advisory projects for private equity and corporate clients. You will be responsible for managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, directing project teams, synthesising complex analyses, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

You will also play an important role in team development through coaching, mentorship and leadership while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously, managing project delivery, timelines and team performance.
• Direct commercial due diligence assignments for buy-side and sell-side transactions across the healthcare sector.
• Structure complex projects, develop hypotheses, and guide teams through rigorous analytical problem solving.
• Translate research and analysis into compelling, strategic recommendations for clients.
• Lead client meetings and presentations, confidently engaging with senior executives and investors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, manage risks and ensure exceptional client outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Contribute to internal initiatives that support the firm’s continued growth and development.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in life sciences strategy consulting.
• Significant experience leading healthcare commercial due diligence projects for private equity investors and corporate clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project teams and competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in healthcare markets, commercial strategy and investment-related decision making.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Advanced degree such as an MSc, MBA, PharmD, MD or PhD preferred.
• Experience working across a broad range of life sciences sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technology or healthcare services.

Location: London (hybrid working model with approximately 40% office attendance)
