Senior Project Manager

Summary

Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing strategic projects from initial ideation through completion. This includes coordination and communication with key personnel, monitoring progress, assigning responsibilities, preparing reports, and controlling scope to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager also provides leadership, guidance, and oversight to assigned Project Manager(s), supporting project prioritization, execution, and professional development.

• Manage and provide leadership to assigned Project Manager(s), including setting priorities, providing guidance, and supporting successful project execution and employee development.
• Provide strategic oversight across assigned projects, establishing consistent project governance, stage-gate reviews, reporting standards, and processes to support prioritization, resource alignment, and risk management.
• Define and communicate project plans, schedules, objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities.
• Serve as a liaison between cross-functional project teams and management.
• Support product lifecycle planning including documentation, storage, and dissemination of project strategies. Includes visioning and product roadmaps, product phase out, sunsetting, product performance testing, and clinical trial projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact successful project completion
• Manage and adjust changes in project scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage relationships and communication between internal and external clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Understand industry trends and their impact on project plans
• Support enterprise-wide strategy for new initiatives and processes
• Originate and moderate workshops to identify risks, goals, needs, solutions and insights to support initiatives with cross-functional team members
• Present project status, risks, business impacts, and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams.
• Drive achievement of key business objectives including revenue growth, operational efficiency, cost reduction, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify project resource requirements and resolve capacity constraints.
• Support coordination duties such as equipment, logistical coordination, and organization
• Support department budget tracking and expense reporting
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of proven experience in project management, including experience leading, mentoring, or providing oversight to project team members and leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Engineering or Supply Chain experience is preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Sprint methodologies is preferred
