About the Role

The person in position will be responsible for doing development for Projection Mode domain under Smart Device Connectivity SW Domains Intelligent Cockpit.

What You Will Do

• You will be working as SW Developer for Projection Modes.
• Most of the work will be on middleware and application development on Android Platforms.
• Develop new Features/enhance existing features for Android Auto & Carplay Specification Upgrades.
• Perform issue analysis, debug and Bug Fixing.
• Perform Unit Test & Functional test.
• Should have good understanding of Android Architecture & Infotainment.
• Should be able to communicate and work closely with team members internal and peer domains.
• Should be able to provide the task updates as per the defined process.
• Should diligently follow the defined process, guidelines in entire SW Development cycle.

What You Need to be successful

• Possess good working experience in Android Auto/CarPlay/Streaming features
• Strong fundamentals on Embedded product development. Android Automotive/RTOS/Linux
• Bachelor s/master s degree in computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent from premier institutes
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Developer preferably in Automotive SW.
• Excellent programming skills in Java/C++
• Proficient in Android Internals and Android Framework.
• Proficient in multi-threaded programming and Synchronization mechanisms.
• Proven experience in debugging and root causing application issues like ANR and core system issues like kernel issues and random crash.
• Experience in building large complex software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor and multi-interface environment.
• Excellent communication skills while working in multi-site environment.
• Good exposure on board bring-up and Hardware handling.
• Good exposure on serial protocols, storage devices, network protocols.
• Good exposure to any of the Application processor like Exynos, Qualcomm processors.
• Should be able to communicate and work closely with team members internal and peer domains.
• Should be able to provide the task updates as per the defined process.
• Should diligently follow the defined process, guidelines in entire SW Development cycle.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Worked in SAFe Agile environment.
• Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment SW Components.
• Knowledge of Hardware Bring ups & handle them.
• Connectivity Technologies/Protocols like RTP/RTSP/SIP expertise.
