About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Agent Developer who has built and deployed at least one functional AI agent in a real-world or practical application. The ideal candidate should have experience developing AI agents that can process information, make decisions based on defined criteria, use tools, and execute automated workflows. This role is focused on building practical, working AI solutions rather than purely academic projects or basic chatbot applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI agents for practical business use cases.
• Build AI agents capable of reading and processing emails, extracting relevant information, evaluating opportunities against defined criteria, and drafting appropriate responses.
• Implement tool calling and integrations with external APIs, email platforms, and business systems.
• Develop automated workflows that connect AI reasoning with real-world actions.
• Ensure agents handle errors, exceptions, and unexpected inputs reliably.
• Test, debug, and improve agent performance, accuracy, and reliability.
• Provide working demonstrations, code samples, or deployed projects showcasing previous AI agent development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience building and deploying at least one working AI agent.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and AI agent development.
• Practical knowledge of tool/function calling and integrating AI models with external tools or APIs.
• Experience with email automation, workflow automation, or similar business process automation.
• Ability to build agents that perform multi-step tasks rather than simply generate text in response to prompts.
• Strong programming skills in Python or another relevant language.
• Ability to demonstrate previous work through a live project, working demo, or accessible code repository.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI agents that read, classify, and respond to emails.
• Experience using AI to evaluate information against business rules or decision criteria.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, LLM APIs, and workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience integrating AI applications with third-party services and business systems.
• Understanding of production deployment, debugging, and monitoring of AI-powered applications.

Practical Evaluation – Mandatory

Candidates must be able to demonstrate at least one functional AI agent they have personally built.

• A live project or working demonstration.
• A GitHub repository or other accessible code sample.
• A brief explanation of the agent’s functionality, tools used, and deployment approach.

Candidates whose experience is limited to academic assignments, theoretical AI/ML knowledge, basic chatbot projects, or short introductory courses without a working AI agent are unlikely to be suitable for this role.
