ServiceNow Software Developer III

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Software Developer III to design, develop, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions that enhance employee and customer digital experiences. This role focuses on modernizing user interactions through ServiceNow Workspaces, Employee Center, Service Portals, and Customer Service Management (CSM) while improving automation, operational efficiency, and platform adoption. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, expertise in modern workspace and portal technologies, and the ability to build scalable integrations and automated workflows.

Contract Length: 6-12 months with extensions or conversion probably

Contract Location: Remote

Citizenship: Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder, compensation only on W2. No 3rd parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ServiceNow Workspaces, including Service Operations Workspace (SOW), Agent Workspace, and Next Experience applications.
• Use UI Builder to extend out-of-the-box functionality and create intuitive, role-based workspace experiences.
• Configure and customize CSM, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog capabilities.
• Design and implement workflow automation using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and native ServiceNow capabilities.
• Develop integrations with enterprise applications using REST APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
• Build and maintain ServiceNow customizations using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Workspaces, UI Builder, and the Next Experience Framework.
• Experience developing Employee Center, Service Portal, CSM Portal, or other customer self-service solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow development technologies, including Glide APIs, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, and UI Actions.
• Experience with Flow Designer, ITSM, Customer Service Management (CSM), Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
• Hands-on integration experience using REST APIs, Integration Hub, and web services.
• Experience working in Agile development environments with distributed teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities, Now Assist, Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or agentic AI solutions.
• Experience enhancing enterprise employee and customer digital experiences.
• Familiarity with platform modernization, workflow automation, and ServiceNow development best practices.
