A well-established and highly regarded property consultancy is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager on a one-year fixed-term contract (with potential to become permanent). This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional looking to take ownership of a varied portfolio within a collaborative and professional environment. Within this role, you will play a key part in delivering a high-quality property management service, ensuring properties are maintained to exceptional standards whilst providing outstanding customer service to landlords, tenants and stakeholders.

Your new role

As the Residential Property Manager, working within a small team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private rented properties across London and the Eastern Home Counties. You will oversee all aspects of day-to-day property management and ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice. As part of the role, you will act as the primary point of contact for landlords, manage tenancy matters, including tenancy renewals and rent reviews, ensure properties comply with regulatory requirements, monitor contractor performance and conduct property inspections. This is an excellent all-round role which provides autonomy and opportunity to build internal and external stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed

In order to be successful for this role, you will have proven experience managing residential properties within the Private Rented Sector (PRS). You should have excellent knowledge of residential tenancy legislation and compliance requirements and strong communication skills. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
