Location: Remote/Bentonville, AR (After initial contract, it will be hybrid in Bentonville, AR)

Duration: Contract to hire

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in native Android application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android application lifecycle.
• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries and modern Android development practices.
• Experience building UI components using Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, or similar libraries.
• Familiarity with Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
• Knowledge of local data storage using Room, SQLite, or DataStore.
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing mobile applications for retail, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer platforms.
• Familiarity with payment integrations, product catalogs, shopping carts, order management, and customer account workflows.
• Experience with Firebase, crash reporting, analytics, and mobile application monitoring.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and mobile application security.
• Knowledge of automated mobile testing and continuous delivery practices.
