Senior Java Backend Developer

An employer is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade APIs and cloud-native applications.

The Role

• Design, develop, and support enterprise APIs and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build a new payments API platform using scalable, resilient, and secure microservices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create enterprise API and event-driven integration solutions.
• Implement secure, scalable, and resilient microservices, utilizing event-driven systems like Kafka.
• Mentor and guide on application architecture, coding standards, and cloud-native best practices.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience building enterprise applications and APIs.
• 5+ years of Java development experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Maven, and Gradle.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker.
