Job Summary

Duties

• Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and telemarketing campaigns
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and providing personalized insurance options
• Conduct client consultations to explain policy benefits, coverage options, and answer questions clearly and confidently
• Negotiate terms and coverage options to meet client expectations while adhering to insurance regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and sales administration tools
• Stay informed about industry trends, health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance products to provide expert advice
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for expanding client base and increasing sales opportunities

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are a plus)
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience in outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Knowledge of insurance products such as health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance is advantageous but not mandatory—training will be provided
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems to manage client data efficiently
• Analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable coverage options
• Understanding of insurance regulation standards to ensure compliance during all sales activities
• Ability to build lasting customer relationships through excellent client communication and benefits administration knowledge
