About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Software Engineer to design, architect, and build scalable AI platforms, cloud-native services, and distributed systems. This role focuses on developing high-performance solutions that combine artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, networking, and real-time data processing.

You will work on complex engineering challenges, build reliable production systems, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while contributing to next-generation AI-powered platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, cloud-native platforms and distributed systems.
• Architect event-driven microservices and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Develop and integrate generative AI and agentic systems, including retrieval, tool use, orchestration, and deployment.
• Build reliable systems that process high volumes of operational data while meeting performance, availability, and security requirements.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Contribute to system design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Mentor engineers and establish software engineering best practices.
• Improve system observability, scalability, fault tolerance, and operational reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or C++.
• 5+ years of experience designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, streaming systems, distributed data processing, AI platforms, or large-scale analytics.
• Experience designing high-performance systems with demanding scalability, availability, and latency requirements.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or leading engineering initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver production-ready solutions to complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing generative AI applications or agentic systems.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or similar technologies.
• Experience with networking, network management, telemetry, observability, cloud infrastructure, or distributed control-plane systems.
• Experience building production systems that transform large-scale datasets into actionable insights or automated outcomes.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
