Duties

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Angular), and other programming languages to create seamless user experiences.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to ensure smooth data flow across systems.
• Build scalable systems by applying appropriate design patterns, microservices architecture, and system design principles for high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to plan sprints, review progress, and adapt development strategies effectively.
• Utilize version control tools like GitHub, SVN, or Git for code management, ensuring best practices in software engineering.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and integration processes for rapid delivery cycles.
• Optimize applications for scalability, security (including RBAC—Role-Based Access Control), and performance on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to uphold high standards of software quality.
• Stay current with emerging technologies such as quantum engineering or new programming languages like Python or C# to continuously enhance system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-stack application development with strong expertise in Java and JavaScript frameworks like React or Express.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Linux environments, and web servers.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, system design for scalable systems, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or SQL-based systems; experience with version control tools like GitHub or SVN is essential.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile software development practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate across teams effectively.
• Additional skills such as C++, C#, Python, VBA, or experience with application development on platforms like.NET or using front-end technologies like React are advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $135.00 per hour
