Role Description The Senior Web Designer at TalesByDora will lead the design and evolution of the company’s web presence, ensuring visually compelling, user-centered experiences across all digital touchpoints. This full-time remote role involves designing and refining website layouts, user interfaces, and interactive elements that align with the brand’s travel-focused identity. The Senior Web Designer will collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to translate business goals and travel offerings into intuitive, responsive web designs. Typical responsibilities include creating wireframes and prototypes, defining design systems, optimizing pages for usability and performance, and maintaining consistent visual standards. The role also includes reviewing analytics and user feedback to iterate on designs, mentoring other designers, and contributing to strategic decisions about the digital experience.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered, mobile-first interfaces.
• Proficiency in Graphic Design and working with Graphics, including creation and optimization of visual assets for the web.
• Experience in Front-End Development (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with developers and ensure design fidelity.
• Ability to use modern design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and follow contemporary UI/UX best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in leading web design projects end-to-end, from discovery and wireframing to final implementation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team environment.
• Attention to detail, commitment to accessibility and inclusive design, and a data-informed approach to improving user experience.
• Background in designing for travel, e-commerce, or content-driven websites is a plus; a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
