About the Role

We are looking for a curious and resourceful Junior TanStack Developer who is not afraid to leverage AI tooling to write better code, debug faster, and learn on the fly. You will join a modern web development team building fast, type-safe, data-intensive applications using the full TanStack ecosystem (React Query, TanStack Router, TanStack Table, etc.).

You should be comfortable working alongside AI assistants (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to accelerate your workflow — and smart enough to know when not to trust them.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reactive, type-safe frontend features using TanStack Query, TanStack Router, and React.
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs using generated hooks and query management.
• Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Continue) to scaffold components, write tests, and refactor code.
• Collaborate with backend teams to design efficient data fetching and caching strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, with a focus on catching AI-generated anti-patterns.
• Optimize table rendering with TanStack Table for large datasets.
• Document prompt workflows and AI-assisted solutions for team knowledge sharing.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• 0–2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and modern React (hooks, context, side effects).
• Hands-on experience with TanStack Query (React Query) and/or TanStack Router.
• Familiarity with TanStack Table or TanStack Virtual is a plus.
• Experience using at least one AI coding tool (Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, ChatGPT for code generation).
• Basic understanding of asynchronous state management and caching.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Zustand, Zod, or tRPC.
• Knowledge of Vitest or React Testing Library for AI-generated test validation.
• Familiarity with Vite, Turborepo, or Bun.
• Open Source contributions or a personal project using TanStack + AI.
