Job Description – Senior Network Engineer (Wireless) Location: Remote

About The Role We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, specialising in wireless infrastructure, Wi-Fi architecture, security, and performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimise enterprise Wi-Fi and WLAN infrastructure.
• Conduct RF site surveys using tools such as Ekahau.
• Configure and manage Cisco Meraki, Aruba Central, and Juniper Mist platforms.
• Implement wireless security using 802.1X, WPA3-Enterprise, and RADIUS.
• Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity, roaming, and performance issues.
• Automate network operations using Python or Ansible.
• Monitor network performance and collaborate with global IT and security teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience with a strong wireless specialisation.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7, RF fundamentals, and roaming protocols.
• Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, OSPF/BGP, DHCP, DNS, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise WLAN platforms and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ansible for network automation is desirable.
• CWNP, CCNP Enterprise, CCNA Wireless, or Aruba certifications are preferred.

Preferred Experience

• High-density wireless environments such as offices, campuses, warehouses, and auditoriums.
• Wi-Fi asset tracking, location-based services, and IoT wireless technologies such as BLE and Zigbee.
